Using 2x eero 6 routers

Is it possible to use 2x eero 6 routers together to provide a mesh instead of using the optional extenders?

I have my eero 6 connected to Ethernet to my modem. But now I want to increase the range of the Wi-Fi by using another eero 6 router without having to lay out more Ethernet cables.

  • Hi djrichie84  Yes you can.  All eero are designed to work with all other eero.  eero 6 routers can either be the head of a network (the gateway) or a wired or wireless leaf node (to extend the network range).  This is true of any eero that has ethernet ports.
