How many devices can Eero handle?

I'm thinking of getting this.  I currently have a Netgear R7000 router and would like to upgrade for coverage to a mesh system.  I currently have ~50 devices on the network including Laptops, TV's, Fire devices, Google Mini's, Echo devices, smart lights & plugs, and cameras.  I know they talk about 128 devices per Eero so I would assume the 3 pack will solve my coverage problem as well as number of devices.  I have a ~2000 Sq Foot house, 2 floors, with a woodshop in the back that I need coverage in.  I figure I'll have the hub in my office on the first floor, one of the others in the hallway on the second floor, the third in my woodshop.

Can anybody relate their experiences in this regard?

Thank you.

  • You’ll be just fine. I run 2 eeros for my 2,600 sq/ft house (I can even run it fine with just a single eero), and I have about 40 devices on my network. I know people with 60+ devices running without an issue.
