0eero blocking FireTV and Recast DVR Apps
I set up my eero 6+ about a month ago and I can't figure out how to fix this security issue. My FireTV works fine on the primary network if I want to watch live TV or recordings through my Fire Recast DVR. But if I want to use any of the apps for other streaming services (HBO max, Motortrend, Apple TV+, Netflix, etc.) the app will load but then hang when I try to watch a program. The only way I can use any of the apps is to switch to the guest network. I tried setting the Recast to the guest network, but then none of it works. It is incredibly annoying to have to constantly switch between networks. Why won't these Amazon devices work together? How do I fix it? All software is up to date - eero is running v. 6.11.1-46 and the TV is on Fire OS 6.2.9.1.

Bump... Why is Amazon blocking Amazon devices in eero security? Why don't owners have access to override that block?

Please send us an email to support@eero.com and use the subject line "Community Followup - Streaming services blocked". Please send this from the email address on the eero account and/or include the serial number of one of the eero on the network so we can bring it up.
