0Hive unable to connect
I've recently activated Eero and set my Virgin media router to modem mode.
Everything is working as expected, except for Hive not connecting and is showing as offline. I've restarted all devices, set network to 2.4GHz but still no joy.
It's really frustrating me now, I wish technology would just work

Hi Sonofhip From what I'm am seeing online you control this Hive via an app on another device. The usual disconnect here is when the controlling/app device is on one network/band and the Hive device will be connecting to a different network/band. When you hide the 5 ghz make sure to turn off and turn back on the wireless on your device with the app, make sure it is on the 2.4 and then try the setup, see if that helps.

Hi Michael, thanks for the quick response.
It turns out I was being stupid, the hive hub was connected via ethernet to our broadband router, which is now in modem mode. This means only one ethernet port is active, which is the one connected to the eero!
So we connected directly to the eero, and after a reboot it now works. Hopefully this helps someone else in the future.
Shout out to my wife for spotting this, despite me being the one that works in IT support :)

Sonofhip I would by lying if I said that I had never done this...multiple times. Kudos to your wife for spotting it and getting something else to hold over your head for the rest of your days
