Devices having connectivity issues

I recently moved and received an eero from my new internet service provider.  90% of my devices are able to connect to it just fine.  However, both my roku and xbox have had issues connecting.  When I first set everything up (3 weeks ago) my roku had zero issues connecting, but I hadn't tried my xbox yet.  Then 3 days ago my roku wasn't connected to the network.  When I went back in to set it back up it the network wasn't there.  All of my other devices can see the network and it works just fine.  So at that point I decided to check my xbox and ran into the same issue.  However, unlike my roku that never finds the network regardless of the number or modem/device reboots I do I managed to get it to find the network only for it to have issues connecting to microsoft services.  I was able to connect to netflix via my xbox, so I knew it was working, but it would never reach other services.  I tried it again today and it seems to be fully working (for now), however my roku will still not find the network. I've tried entering in the ssid and mac address manually, but no such luck.  I've also forced it into 2.4 only mode to see if the roku might pick that up, but it didn't work.  Thinking that perhaps it was just a device failure I even swapped out for a brand new roku stick and found the same issue.  I'm kind of at my wits end now and not sure what's going on to cause only roku devices to not be able to detect my network.  For the record, they can see other networks just fine and were able to connect to a mobile hotspot I made without issue, so the only possible cause I can link to is a setting in the router itself.

    Have you had any luck with this I have been having the same issue with my pc will not show any network apart my my neighbours but other devices can pick it up straight away

      alanc156 I ended up swapping out the device for a TP link and suddenly everything worked like a champ.

      alanc156 Good luck.  The internet company that provided the eeros was less than helpful and assured me there were no problems with the equipment, yet when I swapped it out everything started working just fine.

    According to my knowledge Another common reason for connectivity issues is data server failure. Router issues can also be the source of the problem. Any equipment failure can lead to a complete network failure. Without a backup or redundant system to take over, operations relying on connectivity can come to a screeching halt.
