How do I get my eero to show ethernet connected devices?

So I recently got an eero network setup to help amplify my wifi and it works perfectly! The only issue is that when I connect my devices to my ethernet switch (which, in turn, is connected to my gateway eero) they don't appear in my eero iOS app and are in fact on a different subnet. The internet works fine on them. My apologies if this has already been mentioned here before it's just that I would really like to use port forwarding so I can setup a web server e.t.c

My current setup is:

Modem (original router in "Modem Mode") -> eero -> switch 1 -> Etenet over Powerline -> switch 2

I also have another eero which acts as a repeater.

I noticed that prior to getting my eeros, all my devices had the IP address 192.168.0.x and how eero is using 192.168.4.x. The strange thing is that all ethernet connected devices are using 192.168.0.X and all wireless devices are using 192.168.4.X. Is this part of the problem?

Looking forward to hearing from you

  • I am having the exact same issue. Well not really an issue but I’m basically in the same boat. Looking to see an explanation to this as well.
