Eero 6 + Extender: Output Power in dBm

Hello All,  

I purchased an Eero 6 + extender bundle recently from the US and have gotten it shipped to where I live.

In order to get it cleared through customs (and telecommunications regulatory) of the country I live in, I have been asked to declare the device's "Output Power in dBm". 

I don't seem to be able to find this information anywhere. 

Could someone assist me, please?

    I don’t know if this is completely accurate or if this is what you are needing, but their filings with the FCC include some data on the signal strength: https://fccid.io/2AEM4-61704

    I found this online calculator to convert mW to dBm: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/power/mW_to_dBm.html

      cMoo92 Thanks a lot for this information, and for taking the time to respond! 

      I actually got in touch with Eero Support, and following is the response I received:

      "For the eero 6 and eero 6 extender power output, they are both 15 W or 41.76 dBms, but the eero pro 6's have a higher power output at 27W and would be 44.31 dBms."

      P.S.: I checked it out on the calculator you shared and it came-out to be the same.

      Geethika Hey there! We appreciate you reaching out to us about this. It looks like we had a bit of a miscommunication about the power output of the eeros.

      The numbers that were provided to you were the power supply's output in dBm. Customs is going to be looking for the RF power output, which is 25.5 dBm for 2.4 Ghz, and 24.5 dBm for 5.8 Ghz. (=

      Kora (eero Support) does the Eero 6 have a way for us to limited, restrict and/or control the RF power output? essentially to keep it below a particular dBm level.

      Geethika That's another great question! Yes, eeros will automatically restrict themselves to meet the effective radiated power restrictions in your regulatory domain. However, keep in mind that eeros are only certified for use in specific countries (namely the US and Canada for the eero 6 line).

      So, I'm not based in the US nor Canada, and the output power (dBm) levels over here has a much lower limit. So I'm wondering if I can manually restrict the output power based on regulations within my country?

      Geethika I'm afraid there's no way to manually restrict the power output of the eeros.
