13Allow M1 Mac Users ability to install iOS App on Mac.
With the entrance of Apple Silicone M1 Macs users have the ability to install iOS apps from the AppStore. Currently I cannot find it to install which mean you (Eero) is not letting us do this. I would love to have the ability to install the iPadOS version to my MacBook so I can manage my network from their. Please enable this. Thanks.

Lets make this official guys! I was able to side load it but downloading it from the App Store would be much more ideal.

Also side loaded this on an M1 (when you could), and it works fine. At least for managing the eero. I haven't tried setting up, but I'm an iOS developer and work with bluetooth hardware and that works fine with the M1. Just give me the App Store Connect login, have someone coordinate the 2FA part, and I'll fix for you. ;-)

yellow. jacket Yeah after the 11.3 update I went to open it up and I could no longer use it. It’s a shame really. All they have to do is allow it. That’s it.

imjoey If you previously had a working version and backed up to Time Machine, you can get it back. Think the iOS App Store version is 6.6.x(?), but I’m running 6.1.1 still on M1 with no issues. But I think the issue is less the version and more when you downloaded from App Store.

yellow. jacket when I updated to Big Sur 11.3 all of my iOS apps sideloaded stopped working including Eero. I usually don’t back up via time machine. I have a separate ssd for saving important files and iCloud as well.

Really frustrating that this is locked - given that the app was working great on my M1 machine before sideloading was dropped, I *believe* this is as simple as Eero checking a box to "allow" it to be installed via the App Store. Very sad to lose this useful feature.
