  • When I turned on WPA3 protocol my smart plugs would show online and I use the SmartThings smart plug and TP Link Kasa Smartplugs so I had to turn WPA3 off. I was really hoping to use WPA3 protocol for the best security. Anyone having this problem to because I really hope it’s the beta so when it gets it’s full release it will work.

  • TP- Link smart Plugs work now.

Now it's just the Smarthings smartplugs that are not compatible with WPA3.

  • Any updates regarding Meross? I have the same issue. When WPA3 is on, the device is unresponsive.
    Thank you

  • I had trouble with WPA3 beta with Hunter fans and Vocolinc smart plugs. Both only use 2.4gjz. Did not connect when WPA3 beta on.  Hunter said this is known issue for them.
