Manual IP change

I want to change the DHCP address that comes with my Eero to my current IP address manually. What I have is 192.168.0.1, 255.255.255.0, range 192.168.0.25 to 192.168.0.254. I want 2 to 25 static. When I make this change manually and says it needs a reboot, nothing happens when I click reboot. I get a message back that says it has trouble and could not make the change. How do I get this to work?

  • Hi scennimo

    The proper settings should be:

    Subnet IP: 192.168.0.0

    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

    Starting IP: 192.168.0.25

    Ending IP: 192.168.0.254

The subnet IP has to end in 0, the gateway eero will automatically take the x.x.x.1 address.

Michael_eero_support I have another question if I may. What will happen with the other 2 devices when I connect them? Do I have to manually set them up as in the first? Leave them in DHCP mode and they will get it from the first?
