Monitor CPU usage

I have two eero gen 1 units hard wired on the backend.  I sometimes get connectivity issues such as pages not loading or streams pausing.  My internet is 1Gb so i'm pretty sure it's not that.  I'm wondering if my gateway unit is the bottleneck at some point and if it's worth upgrading my gateway to a gen 2. Is there a way to check more detailed stats such as CPU usage etc so that I could possibly correlate unit performance to my issue?

  • Those kinds of stats aren't visible to end users. You can reach out to eero support and they I'm sure they can look at those kinds of stats and do a lot more troubleshooting/investigation into what might be going on.

It would not surprise me at all though if it's an issue upstream of your eero gateway (i.e. your ISP, modem, etc). There's plenty of eero customers with gen 1 units with 1Gb internet connections.
