802.1Q VLAN Trunking

In addition to the ability to add multiple SSIDs and assign VLANs to each, 802.1Q trunking for these vlans would be required to allow the EERO to tag traffic that is being sent out.

I have just left the Eero ecosystem for Unifi 6 Pro access points since eero continues to neglect this feature. Unifi APs allow up to 4 SSIDs/VLANs per access point, and access points may be used independently, without an investment into all of Unifi.

VirtualWatts I started using them on their own, then I moved to pfsense and bridge mode because I upgraded my internal network to 10 gigabit fiber

The announcement of the Eero Max 7 should kick this absurdly old feature request into approval.  At the staggering $600 list price for a single unit, this new model should surely introduce VLANs and multiple SSIDs.  Without those features, and some others requested here, the so-called Max is decidedly non-max.  My old Eero Pro APs will solider on until I find the motivation to buy a competing product, and that time is approaching.

Rick Zotz My sentiment as well.   I will not buy EEROs again if basic security features like IOT isolation/separation aren’t possible with them.  There’s enough other choices out there that have supported it for a long time that it’s pretty ludicrous that EEROos and/or their hardware does not.
