Screw Mount Slots on Rear of Unit

Would be a great feature to incorporate screw mount slots on the rear of the unit.  I have a couple of my units in an area where there is no flat surface and had intended on mounting on the wall.  To be honest I expected this to already be a feature of the casing.

  • cayanna I used double-sided Velcro and hung mine to the wall.  However, mounting holes on the bottom of the unit would be ideal.

eero is meant to rest on a flat surface, but we know many customers look to mount them to the wall or ceiling. Thanks again for the feedback!

  • +1 for this feature.   No 'clean' way to mount eeros I have installed in the following locations:

    1.  Garage (many devices require wifi/lan in the garage - electric car charger, wifi camera, chamberlain gate gateway bridge)

    2. In hall closed where original central wiring for home (including cat5e) was installed - no available shelf.

    3. In a kitchen - no counter space available, want to inside of wooden cabinet wall.

Wall or ceiling mount would resolve all three items above.

  • I've had good luck with these acrylic "postcard holders" and clear Command strips. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TQ6B0QM

They're a reasonably close fit for the Eero size, have no metal parts, and don't seem to increase heat retention. You could permanently mount them, of course, but I like the flexibility to and minimal wall damage of the adhesive strips.

  • Yes! This or a setup like the google nest cams & smoke alarms that have a super-easy way to mount them
