How do I manage the IP of an eero on my network?
I have looked but do not see a way to statically assign an IP to additional erros. Even setting a reservation in DHCP would suffice. Is this possible?

Thanks for reaching out and for your question. You can set an IP reservation for an eero by using the MAC address of the eero, but adding a "d" at the end in advanced settings.
To obtain the MAC address of an eero, take the following steps:
- Open the eero app
- Tap on the eero at the bottom of the home screen
- Tap on Details at the bottom
- The MAC address can be found in the bottom four items on the page
- In this instance, using any of them is fine as we'll be making an edit in the next step (if you have iOS, you can hold to copy the address)
Once you have the MAC address, you will need to add a reservation. To do so, take these steps:
- Go back to the main screen of the eero app
- Tap the menu option in the top left
- Tap on Network Settings
- Tap on Advanced settings
- Tap on Reservations & Port Forwarding
- Tap on Add a reservation
- Scroll to the bottom and select Enter manually
- From there, in the MAC address field, add your eero's MAC address, delete the last value and add "d"
- Provide the rest of the information, and tap Open a port

Did this approach actually work? I followed the steps but the eero satellites did not pick up their assigned ips. The two reservations are there however.
This method didn't work for me either so I contacted Eero support. Thank you Jacob@eero support!
There are some differences between the MAC addresses on the 1st & 2nd generation Eeros, as well as the beacons. If you have a 2nd generation Eero, try replacing the last two digits with "12", and if you have a beacon try replacing the last digit with "b".
My setup: I have 5 Eero Pro Units 2nd Gen. (Bought it set of 3 and set of 2), OS Version v3.11.0-436
I tried Jacob's suggestion and two of my Eero units are showing the IP I assign to it. However, another Eero didn't. I poked around and discovered this... whether it's true or not, but it's working for me. The last two values you need to replace may or may not be "12". It's the 2 values before "/64" on the Eero's IP page under IPv6 that determine the values you need to replace.
Here is how:
1) Goto the Eero's IP address, and you will see IPv4 on top of the screen and IPv6 on the bottom.
2) Locate the "Link-Local" string (example): AE80:0:0:0:654f:8efff:fe6c:23A2/64
3) "A2" is the two values you need to replace into your Eero's MAC address.
I don't have a beacon so I can't speak to that, but give Eero support a try, they are professional, courteous and reply promptly!
