Auto Updates. How do they work ?

Hi. Just got Eero a week ago. A few days later I noticed when checking my Eeros that there was an update available, when tapping on each eero. I decided to wait and let it auto update that night, after reading they update around 3am or so. Next morning they were still on the old firmware. Same the next morning. I was under the impression that once a firmware update is available they update within 24hrs. How come they haven’t auto updated?

Thanks for reaching out and for your question.

When you first install your eero network, it will automatically update that night to the latest firmware. After that, any new firmware releases will be automatically installed to all networks over a rolling basis. This means that over a week or so, the update will be automatically distributed to all networks.

If you'd like to update your network at your convenience, you also have the option to install it from tapping the update available button in the app. To update all your eeros, tap into the menu from the app and tap on Network Settings. If it says Update available, you can tap to begin the firmware installation.

    Thanks for the reply

So even though the app tells me the update is available it won’t actually update automatically until

sometime later based on your rolling update schedule ?
