8Disable WiFi Radio (on Gateway unit)
I would like to turn off the wifi radio on the Eero device I have in my equipment cabinet. That way it can act as the Gateway unit and I can have others in the home work as access points.
Locating an eero in a metal cabinet often attenuates the signal, and it sometimes still latches onto a device and causes problems. By shutting off the radio this would not happen. Let the Gateway act as Gateway-only and the other devices be wifi access points.
If figure this would be a software upgrade, and if telcos can build it into their router/modems then so can eero.

I too would like to turn off WiFi radio but on a schedule - like at bed time. Current I unplug my eero at night.

I came looking to see if I could do this. I find when things connect to the 2.4Ghz band in the basement (gateway) eero there isn't good enough strength to the main floors of my house. I would like to disable it so my clients don't choose that radio and rely on the other access points.
