LIFX bulbs disconnecting

I have a total of 5 LIFX lights, having just added a new one this week.

Although only about 8-12 feet from the eero router, two of the LIFX bulbs (one of those is the new one) do not seem to be staying connected.  The other bulbs work fine.

I’ve reset the bulbs multiple times,.. doesn’t seem to change the fact that a few hours later, they aren’t connected.

Have you seen this before?

  • Jlandau I'm having a similar issue with a pair of LIFX Candle bulbs. Did you ever find a solution?

      msharpe No- now that the bulb disconnected, I can’t get it reconnected again.  None of my other bulbs have fallen off since.

  • Is band steering on? I found issues with bulbs and older ip cams. I shutoff band steering and it worked

      Flempitsky No, not in my case. I've tried resetting and setting the bulbs up both with and without (my default) band steering enabled, and the result is the same, sadly.

  • I do have band-steering on, but the bulb I’m having issues with (and 2 others that work fine) are in the same room as one of the eeros.

    Interesting suggestion tho- I’ll try disabling it and connecting the bulb.
