I’ve seen this posted a lot on Reddit as well, I’m not sure why they don’t address it apart from saying “It takes place late at night when it shouldn’t affect users” but some people work at this time. Even the ability for the Eero App to send a notification maybe 6 hours before saying “Eero will update at 3 am, if you would like to postpone this update click here” type of thing would be awesome. 

I think it would be nice to have control over when the update happens also.  Where I live there are no other Internet option other than Satellite.  It is a metered connection with a data cap but there is a specific window where there are no data limits.  

If we can't turn off automatic updates, please allow us to schedule a time to reboot after the update.  Rebooting during the middle of the day while people are in video conference calls for work is not really acceptable.

Auto update happened while we had an intruder one night, so our wifi-based camera system captured non of it. Would prefer to update the system on our terms. If you aren’t going to give your users that level of control, maybe at least let us pick what hour in the day updates happen for our system. Then we could plan around that at least.
