0Are 2nd generation eero pros wifi6?
Cannot find the answer to this question anywhere.

EMH56 Thanks for posting! The eero Pro model is not wifi 6. The eero Pro 6 is, while the eero Pro 6E uses wifi 6 along with the larger 160Mhz channels.

EMH56 It uses wifi 5 via a 2.4 Ghz and two 5Ghz bands.

One final question (which was the most important answer I was seeking): What is the maximum link speed for a single connection (I am guessing 574 Mbps?)?

EMH56 The answer is a bit tricky. Theoretically, the eero Pro can output speeds up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz bands, though this is under perfect laboratory conditions. Real world results tend to be more in the 200-600 Mbps range, depending on environmental factors.

I suspect if I were to replace just my gateway with a Pro-6, it would fit seamlessly into my Pro network and get my wifi (when connected to the gateway - which covers most of the house) in the 700-900 Mbps range, correct?
