My printer (canon pixma mx492) only supports WPS connection. How can I connect it with Eero?

You can’t connect via WPS, but you can connect your printer to the WiFi using the touch screen on your printer. Here are Canon’s instructions: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART117459

I can't connect my MX 492 using these instructions. Should I place the router in Legacy mode? The Canon setup seems to be confused by the multiple eero nodes in my house.
