Schools Devices not Connecting to 5g

In California our school district’s primary selected device is the Chromebook. In recent days the Chromebooks in our home are not connecting. All other devices in the home do connect. Troubleshoot has a temporary pause of the 5g and we are able to connect but after the 15 minute pause expires the device disconnects. Any work around? This is a huge impact on our students. Issue not just in our home as the topic is all over the internet in recent days!
