Eero Pro and Roomba 890 connectivity

I have tried for the last three days to connect a new roomba 890, however, I could never get it to set up with the eero pro.   Yesterday I was on the phone with Irobot tech support and found out the wifi on the roomba was not active and I needed to reset the vacuum before it would connect.   I did get the blinking wifi icon on the roomba and was able to connect easily, even though this current model roomba (890) is only compatible with a 2.4 ghz frequency.  evidently the two were able to work it out on their own.   I worried needlessly as once I got the wifi signal on the roomba I had no problems.   Even had an update and installed it.   Progress!!
