Which eero am I connected to?

If I have multiple eeros can I determine which one I'm connected to at any given time?

I'm getting a really slow connection in a room which contains an eero  - this makes me think I'm connected to one in another location in the house. (The eero app shows that the eero in this room has a "connection quality" of excellent)

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi  Latency

Thanks for reaching out! At this time, you cannot see which eero your device is connected to. However, this will be a feature in an upcoming release!

We don't have a date to share when this feature will be available, but stay tuned!

In the meantime, if you feel you are maybe connected to the wrong eero, you can try toggling the WiFi off and then back on from your device.

Also, you can reach out to our team if so we can help with placement to ensure your eeros have enough space so that you are not getting connected to the wrong one.

Feel free to give us a call at 1-877-659-2347 or email us at support@eero.com .

  • Would be nice to have a list of devices sorted by what eero they’re connected to. E.g. EERO1, Device1 device2 device3, EERO2 device4 device5. Etc. Might help on placement.

  • LOVE this feature and have been asking for this for some time. Thanks Eero! Next, would like the ability to force disconnect from Eero app of any device so that it searches and reconnects to a closer Eero. I have static devices in my home that are connected to an Eero at the other end of the house when there's an Eero in that room. It's a bit more involved to login to a app for my garage door opener and disconnect/reconnect or access DirecTV settings to disconnect/reconnect from the device vs doing it from the app. I would think a device that has been kicked off/forced off/disconnected, etc. would search and reconnect to a nearby Eero. Thanks!

  • It would be nice to be able to lock what device your item is connected to And which eero Because my camera keeps trying to connect to a different one and then it loses some of the Signal not the best connection just the first one that turns on and it should connect to the one closest for the best reception

But it doesn’t stay on that one Later on

    • Fishgal Clients choose what AP they connect to.  The AP does not tell a client what AP to connect to.  This is the way WiFi works.

So it’s a ring thing that I have to ask them to add to their devices
