Feature Request: Bandwidth Monitor
With Comcast and others adding bandwidth caps id love to get internal alerts since Comcast numbers are so out of whack.

Google WiFi has this feature. See https://www.howtogeek.com/297012/how-to-view-your-networks-data-usage-on-google-wi-fi/. People in my community are talking about switching to Google WiFi because they don't know which devices are using all the data and they're about to get cut off due to Comcast's 1TB per month limit, which have been waived during the last few months because of the pandemic, but that's about to expire.

This is a basic requirement for any router. Blew past 500GB cap in a couple of weeks. With a device usage/bandwidth monitor that shows device usage over time I'd be able to fix this. I see this feature request has been under consideration for 3 years! Sounds like user satisfaction doesn't mean much to eero. Time to switch to a faster moving competitor like google nest wifi.

Same as everyone else. I was in love with my eero+ until I realized I am hitting my ISP's limit due to WFH. Please listen to your users and add this feature asap. Can't believe it's been 3 years and not a single basic solution is given here.

Any updates? Need to know the offending devices that are gobbling up my data each month. Cox will start charging me $10 for ever extra 50GB!

Just had this message from eero support "...eero is specifically designed to not keep track of what your devices do on the internet. As such we do not keep records of how much bandwidth your devices use like other wireless routers do..." - so if there is work being done on this feature then sounds like the rest of the company doesn't know about it, as they're saying it'll never be possible to do.

Please add the per device bandwidth metering, and fix the existing regressions. As an engineer who will continue to work remote in this pandemic while being billed by the GB, I need usage meters per device.

I'd really like to see this feature as well. I can see realtime use, but not total. Please add this feature.

So I finally did a workaround, using $$$ worth of hardware and software that I have in my home lab for work.
Yay.
I mean it works fine for me but the average consumer won’t have anything like my setup.
This is not that hard...truly. I love my Eeros but this is kindergarten level complexity.

Me too... This is why I signed up to this community so I could reply to this thread. I am at 75% usage on Comcast and the month is just half over. I need to see where my data is flying out from.👍

2 years later and still not a feature! Common guys.

Just signed up to say that I, too, am sorely missing this feature, especially now that everyone is working/schooling from home. I'm just far enough outside of town that my only viable Internet option is DSL (cue sad violins), and when my very slow connection chokes and my Teams call goes to crap, I need to know what's competing for bandwidth, right now. So frustrating that it's not an option!
The eero app used to show current usage on the device list, without having to hunt through devices individually, and while that's not even close to what a bandwidth monitoring feature could and should be, it was far better than the current situation.
I can't imagine eero management or their new(-ish) corporate overlords are happy to see their own customers openly discussing the merits of their competitors, on their own forums, on a thread that's still open after 3+ years because they can't or won't at least re-introduce a feature that they already used to have. It's just crazy!
If I wasn't already $1000 into eero (six of the originals), I'd probably switch. I certainly won't spend another penny on them, nor recommend them to anyone else, until this is addressed.

Was interested in eero as my new system for WiFi 6.. so I came by the community to check out the features and do some research. Wow no traffic meter ? , really?. These days with the caps, it’s an essential feature. Very disappointed to find out eero lacks it.. Also to see the requests where made years ago and it’s only a consideration? Dev team needs to take a harder look at the times.. as people better utilize increased speeds with WiFi 6, the feature will be an even bigger necessity.. wow Orbi has it, just saying
