hard drive / backup function

I'm moving from an Apple Airport Extreeme with built-in 3TB hard drive to your Pro set - and expected all the functionality and better speeds - but am disappointed that I can't attach a hard drive to the Pro and schedule automatic backups...  Is this planned?

  • Hi  KMKUHN —

If you'd like to continue to use your Time Machine from your Apple Airport Extreme, you can put it into bridge mode and connect it to your eero network via an Ethernet connection.

  • I’ll second this. I have a RAID array I’d love to make available to everyone on the network and get rid of the old desktop currently acting like a NAS. Other NAS solutions are clunky, expensive and just one more expense.
