3Device Whitelist
I am an electronics tinkerer, and life would be greatly simplified if I could whitelist a device (probably by MAC address) rather than needing to flash my devices with my network SSID/password (or even more painful - add input mechanisms to all my devices to accommodate joining any arbitrary network).

I've found a few people hovering around the same idea. if we could get everyone to vote on a single thread vs. a bunch of smaller threads i think we could actually get it passed!
