Bridge mode - should Eero have a reserved IP address?

I bought an Eero three pack in the UK Amazon Black Friday sale this week. I have to use the Eero in bridge mode as my Sky modem/router does not have a bridge mode option (pretty normal for UK fibre provider modem/routers). If I set up the Eero in auto mode I get a double NAT which stops my SONOS system working. I have disabled the wifi on the Sky router.

Is there any benefit of reserving each Eero an IP address on the Sky router? Will it make the system more stable? I have one Eero that drops connection each morning.

Thanks in advance for any advice

  • It shouldn’t make a difference to reserve an IP, but it also won’t hurt anything to do it anyways.
