Security flaw: wired device never shown

Philips hue bridge 2.0 is wired only. It doesn’t appear as connected ever on the eero network even though it is and has internet access. It has its own MAC address etc. for some reason eero never sees or displays the hue bridge. Occasionally it shows up as “unknown device” in the historical logs.

there’s clearly a bug that means some devices aren’t showing when connected via a wired connection to eero… and that’s pretty scary when you think about the security implication.

  • What's your topology?  I have a Hue Bridge 2.0 and it shows fine.
