Outdoor Eero

Would like an Eero unit that can be placed in an outdoor weatherproof enclosure. Even though I have a hard-wired Eero 2nd gen placed next to the patio door, the outdoor range is not satisfactory. Rachio provides an outdoor enclosure for their wifi sprinkler controller and the hardware specs cover the typical temperature extremes for many parts of the country; hoping to see an outdoor capable unit from Eero. Thanks!

      Joemama I had a eero pro setup for about 4 years under a patio in Texas, wirelessly meshed to other eero pros.  Since then, I've replaced all with eero 6 pros in the same installation place.  Weather has varied from 2 to 108 during that time period.  No issues.

    I know this is an old thread, but I googled the question, and here I am! I lost Wi-Fi signal when I closed the doors to my all metal workshop to run the AC or heat. I was going to hardwire, but decided to try a beacon outdoors under my deck. Been a couple weeks, so far so good, near full signal with metal doors closed, app 50-75’ away from beacon. 
     

    doesn’t get wet, but I wanted a sturdy enclosure. Drilled some vent holes on each side in an attempt to dissipate heat.

    Exactly what I have been needing, have mine in a custom enclosure that I have a solar generator hooked into.
