Eero or Velop/Google Wifi
Can any users of Eero say why they would choose it other brands like Google Wifi or Linksys velop? Though it would be best to ask each community of users what they think!

Reliability - I gave up after four long months with my tri-band, three pack Velop and after a year with my Amplifi HD system as nodes and clients dropped connectivity every day or services like Air Play only worked with clients on one floor of our house vs another. Resetting or moving nodes did nothing. I sent logs to both companies even though I suspected the problem was just a difficult wifi environment here at our home but neither could pin-point the problem. (Net config changes both companies suggested didn't help at all but kudos to both for trying however)
Pretty much out of desperation I bought the eero wifi system (one Pro and two Beacons), installed both Beacons in the AC wall outlets where my Amplifi nodes were located and the Pro where my gateway Velop and Amplifi were located, configured our network (node placement was fine per the eero app) and have had zero issues with eero since Day One. Everything just works now, all the time. That was seven months ago. I couldn't be happier other than wishing I tried eero first saving myself money and frustration.

Reliability and it just works. I have used Netgear Orbi, a Unifi Mesh set up, Amplify HD and in the end Eero has been the best overall experience, from set up to consistent reliability. My only complaint is the recent update to the Eero App. It went from a very clean UI, to a cluttered mess reminiscent of my Netgear Orbi experience.
