Poor Connection between eero's

I have them 4 feet from each other and I can't add another eeros because it says there is a poor connection. I am hopeful this isn't the experience I was intended to have.

    Hi  martinkwright —

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the eero community.

I am sorry to hear the issue you are experiencing with adding additional eeros to your network. Have you tried setting them up further apart? We recommend that each eero is within 40 feet of one another.

If the issue continues, please contact support so we can take a look into what is going on. Feel free to give us a call at 1-877-659-2347 or email us at support@eero.com.

I tried every combination, 20, 40, 4 ft apart and nothing... The way I ended up getting through the setup is by adding through a wired connection and then placing them throughout the house. You may want to consider putting an option during the setup like "I understand that placement could be better for better performance, please continue."

I got the same issue. I partially some by connecting them through an Ethernet cable.

I had the exact same issue. Thought maybe it was bad eeros. Rerturned them, and got exact same issue with replacements. I discovered that the new Time Warner/ Spectrum cable modem/router was interfering with the eeros. I had them disable the 2.4 and 5ghz radios, and the eeros connected immediately.
