Question about parental controls WITHOUT Eero plus

I am leaning towards purchasing Eero after changing my mind from Google WiFi but I would like more details about what kind of parental controls are available WITHOUT Eero Plus. I'm not inclined to pay a monthly fee for a feature that is already included in most other routers. I can't seem to find any info about what IS available with Plus. Any help would be appreciated.

      outlawmonster isn't wrong. RT2600ac as the router and eero (in bridge mode) as the mesh is a config I often run here at home, and is one of my most stable. It's decadent, price-wise, but often proves to be more reliable than a UniFi setup in a similar capacity.
