Setup Eero router/extender through ethernet connection w splash screen.
Hi, I am setting up Eero on hotel's ethernet connection with login splash screen.
I have verified and connected directly with laptop on the ethernet port to make sure good connection, taking note on DHCP assigned IP , gateway IP, subnet mask, etc. I entered splash screen required info through laptop.
When I attempted to connect Eero, it did NOT connect successfully and giving failed "WAN IP address" step. Bluetooth and ethernet cable detection were successful.
Then I tried to change "internet setting" with those info captured from laptop as I noted those assignments are permanent and I reconnect the laptop succesfully on same cable/port.
Eero still unable to connect with the same error.

Connect your Gateway eero device to your modem using the Ethernet cable that came in the box. You can use either of the Ethernet ports on the back of your eero. Plug your Gateway eero device in to an available power outlet, then reconnect your modem to power. Your eero device's status light will start flashing white.
