Does bridge mode actually disable the Eero Labs functionality (SPA3, band steering)?

I'm considering getting my Sophos firewall running again and using it's far more comprehensive functionality with policies, etc., but would need to put the eero into bridge mode.  In reading the various tech notes which don't directly say what is no longer functional when enabling bridge mode, I see it say that the eero Labs area would be disabled.  Two items listed are of concern; band steering and WPA3.  They are in eero Labs.  Really, I lose two primary functions by putting into bridge mode?

  • Band steering and WPA3 are the two lab functions that remain available in bridge mode.
