Block access to guest network by device
Is it possible to block access to individual devices only to the guest network? I don't want my household devices ever to connect to it.

Hello Calion ,
The guest network will have it's own unique password. So unless you manually connected your devices to your guest network they will not connect to it. If you have manually connected your devices to the guest network and do not want any device except the devices you want, you just need to change the password to the guest network.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

First off, as others have said, how do I tell the password to my daughter's friends when they are over without them then telling her?
More relevantly, I don't have a password on my guest network. https://openwireless.org
So I need to be able to block devices by network, please.

Hello Calion ,
Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I thought you were talking about the guest network with your eero network. If you are, the guest network absolutely has a password you can set in the eero app. It also requires a password to join the guest network. You can view this in Settings -> Guest Access. If you are only using this for your daughter's friends you can setup a random password for the day and give that password to them to us. Then, once you no longer want them on the WiFi you can just change the password in the app and it will disconnect their devices.
You can even use the same password when ever you are okay with them connecting and the same password when you want them to not be able to connect to the guest network. As long as you do not tell them what the password is and they do not have access to the eero app you should be fine keeping them off the guest network.
If you are using a 3rd party guest network you will want to reach out to the manufacturer to find out how to manage their equipment to make sure what ever rules you setup are correct.
Let me know if I am misunderstanding. You can also give our support a phone call if you would like to talk with someone over the phone. I have shared a link below that will help you find the best number to call.
