Support for the Desktop

I'd like to have the ability to manage eero from a desktop.  The phone apps were well thought out, and work well.  However, having the ability to do this from my laptop/desktop would be very useful for me anyway.  Either browser or (for me) a Windows 10 UWP would be awesome!

Jay Phillips I returned my instantly once I figured this out, just not worth the money for an experience I do not desire.

  • Some of us old geezers need the desktop app because the phone screen is just too hard to see

dude_ledooder So true, I am a developer and honestly I don't want to type in ip addresses on the phone, configure ports... This is more of an advanced user scenario.  I also don't want to have to login to different apps to manage my families networks.

Honestly its just lazy to just go mobile only, and if they just want dumb home users, more power to them.  I will just never use their products or suggest them.  They fail to understand though, the nerds that want the desktop experience are the nerds that suggest products to their family and friends.  And you know who is never going to suggest these products, this guy.

  • This is important for accessibility purposes.  You may not want o create a desktop app but for some of us, accessibility is a major issue and having a desktop app facilitates that.  Really small minded.

  • Can anyone from eero explain why they are being so adamant and resistant?  Clearly there is a passionate desire for having a web based administration interface.  Those technical enough among us (I would assume most of the people here) know that it would be insanely easy to implement such access.  I'm thinking that creating the mobile app interface was far more complicated than having a straight web based access from one's computer.  So why?  Why will eero not consider implementing an insanely easy feature that your users passionately have been pleading for?    Maybe if you could explain why you refuse to offer what is pretty standard with all of your competitors, it might help us see your the logic of your decision to ignore us.
