Improve guest network settings

I really appreciate the guest network option, but it would be nice to have more control/insight; I'd love to be able to limit bandwidth, for example, as well as more easily determine which devices are currently connected to the guest SSID vs the main SSID. Right now I have to go through my device list one device at a time if I want to see for sure which devices are on which network. FWIW I use my eeros in bridge mode.

  • Good suggestion and Jeff, thanks for passing this on to the dev team. I second this one as well; in the list of active devices, it'd (hopefully) be easy to list the main network devices first, then a second header and the list of guest devices. I imagine it'd be easy to group and sort by subnet, etc. Thanks!

  • Agreed with  stevebaker , listing of devices on main network, then a second header and list of guest devices. Right now you have to click into each device to figure out if they are on the main network or guest network. I'm going to enter a new one since this is about a year old, and this has several features in it.

  • I am casting a vote behind this request. We would very much like the ability to limit bandwidth of the guest network. It's quite wonderful that we have the ability to stream movies on our phones, until there are 7 guest watching 8 different movies or games while 1 person needs to work :=] The beta settings enabling even distribution of bandwidth and DNS caching did help a bit.
