powerline network adapter

I recently had to replace 3 Netgear Poweline 1200 devices because they stopped working reliably. After looking for a replacement I concluded that there are no devices for Ethernet over home electric wires that meet eero standards. I would be happy to replace my current devices if eero made powerline network adaptors. I strongly suspect that a lot of eero customers are in my position or would benefit from a good wired solution in homes without Ethernet installed.

  • Hm, well, for what its worth, I'm using Zyxel powerline adapters on one of my eero networks and all the devices wired into the powerline network work just fine. That particular network is a bit of a Frankenstein monster. It also has MOCA and gigabit ethernet segments and everything works great.

  • No problem with TP-Link powerline networking adapters. And Netgear MoCA 1.1 adapters are working just fine as well with eero. Surprised to hear that any of this would be a problem for the eero.

  • I would also be happy with an eero WiFi Device that connected a device over ethernet.  Don't need a full base station or eero satellite router.  Don't want the expense of another Eero pro 6 basestation, just a less expensive device that connected a printer via ethernet to the eero Wifi Network.
