0Eero and Lutron Caseta Hub
I just installed my Eero network, and find that my Lutron Caseta Hub will not work when I have it plugged into my existing modem/router combo. I get an "offline" message on Lutron devices. Yet it works perfectly if I plug it directly into the single available ethernet port on the Eero. I have turned off wireless on the modem/router to avoid network conflicts. I have also tried putting the router into bridge mode. Nothing so far has helped. Will other hubs (Hue) have to be plugged into the Eero to work? Any suggestions?

If you put your eero into Bridge mode, then it would work to leave your Lutron hub connected to your modem/router. You would probably need to powercycle those devices after putting eero into Bridge mode to make sure they get their IP address from the modem/router. Otherwise, if you connect everything to your eero, it will also work fine. If you need more ports, you can get a simple 5 port unmanaged switch and connect that to the eero and then hardwire your other devices (like your hubs) to the switch.

thanks. Very helpful to see both of those options. The only downside with putting the Eero into Bridge mode, as I understand it, is losing some of the advanced features. I like the switch idea! Again, thanks!
