Eero Plus - Is it the end of life?

New to Eero. I liked the Eero plus features, more than 3 weeks left in trial. While I was looking for the option to buy it, this is what I came up with. 

Is it the end of Eero plus? Anyways, I believe Eero plus should be included for the life of device because of the premium price for the device itself. 

Anyone else having issues trying to subscribe to Eero plus or just me? TIA

  • I haven’t heard anything about it going away. They’ve still been adding features, so I would highly doubt they’re going to remove it. Also, purchasing the eero plus subscription on Amazon is not the official method, so I wouldn’t take that page to mean much of anything. You can just purchase eero Plus through the eero app.

      cMoo92 aha, probably you didn't went to their site recently. They have a purchase button for Eero plus on their site, which takes you to amazon website. Thats the screenshot is from. Also, they removed the ability to purchase within the app (at least on iOS for obvious reasons). I don't have Android so not sure how things at that end.

    • TheJacobs Ah, I didn’t know that. I looked at the website before I responded the first time and saw their FAQs which are apparently not accurate currently. I’m already subscribed to eero Plus, so I couldn’t exactly what the process was.

  • Actually, I asked this very same question on Reddit last week when I couldn’t find a way to signup or activate the free trial. Nick Weaver himself responded that they are doing some transitioning...nothing about eliminating the service.
     

    He suggested I email support to activate the trial.... I did and support acted promptly.

  • cMoo92 Email support at support@eero.com. Every new customer will receive a 30-day trial and if your trial is expiring, support will extend your trial. We are currently transitioning to a new payment system for iOS, so payments are not available in the app. Security, privacy, and parental controls are critical for our customers and we will continue to offer our customers these features through eero Plus.

      Sieglock Is the transition to the new payment system still ongoing?  I have 13 days left and want to subscribe.  I’m glad you posted as I could not figure out for the life of me why I couldn’t find the button to do that.  Thanks!

  • Gwhizkids - Thanks for reaching out. We are still on track to launch the new payment system before trials expire. We will email all trialing customers with a link to pay once the system is up and running.   • I am glad the Eero team is working towards a resolution and providing interim solution for those who are affected by ending trial period. Glad that you guys removed subscription option from your site which was leading to amazon site after I posted it here. All good for now! 👍
