Hardwire Connections

Looking to buy the eero 3 pack (normal) which comes with 3 routers. One will be connected to my existing modem/router through a bridge gateway and the rest placed around the house. Currently, I am running an ethernet cable from my existing modem/router to a gaming console that is quite far away. Is it possible to place one of the 2 extenders/pucks I will be getting in the 3 pack next to the console and connect both using an ethernet cable instead of using the 25ft long cable which I'm currently doing?

  • Hello,

If all three of the eeros in the pack either normal eeros or eero Pros you will be able to. Only the eero Beacons and eero 6 Extenders do not have ethernet ports.

    Thank you,

  • So the additional router can be set up by itself (linked to the main router through wifi) but still be wired into my console so I get ethernet speeds? It doesn't need to be connected to the main router through a wire right?

This is the product I am looking to buy.
