wake on wan issue - router arp table

Wake on WAN issue. I have been able to open a port using the phone app and wake on WAN works for about 15 minutes after putting the computer to sleep. i researched this and there is a fix. The internal ip address of the computer i i wish to wake needs to be assigned a static address so it is not flushed from the arp table in the router. please see this you tube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z7nBVb8yNA#action=share. I have attempted to connect to my eero pro router using telnet to fix the problem and am unable to do so. Can a feature be added to the app to allow the assignment of a static ip to the computer to be woken so it is not flushed from the arp table? if so, i would be able to use wake on wan reliably with eero - doug
