Manage via a web browser

I'm sure this must be a feature request already, but I did look, honest!

Anyway, I want the ability to go to the webpage of my gateway Eero device and manage it that way. I'm in my 50's not my 20's. I don't want to sit on my 5" phone screen looking at my wifi, I want to do it from the comfort of my large desktop HD display. I work in IT, I sit in front of a desktop pc for a living. I want to be able to manage Eero also from a desktop pc please. Even if it is just a simple web interface to the app.

Ok, I just found this is a "Not Planned" feature!!

Why? Everything else I have in my house (almost) has a web management interface to it from my broadband router to my pihole and everything inbetween. Every coroporate wifi system or network device I have ever worked on has a web interface. Imaging if Aruba or Meraki made you manage their wifi via a phone app? I know this isn't a corporate wifi system, but why dumb it down with phone-only?

Erro support has made it clear they do not want users to be able to manage these devices via a web interface despite repeated requests. They claim security is the reason.

The have managed to secure this platform from me. I have now moved four of my customers to another platform that allows management, and I have two more in the works.

Maybe they are using this as leverage to force users to install their app?

I only bought them as they were on a black friday offer, but it is a dissapointing omission. Amazon own Eero, it's not like they couldn't leverage something on Amazon's nice and secure AWS platform. Implying a browser isn't secure would put in to question the rest of Amazon's ecosystem surely? :)

This is similar to Google WiFi, only managed via an app. I actually prefer not to have access via a web interface. One less attack vector when it comes to security. It does indeed increase security.

Frank Palicky that's fine. I would love to for you to be able to disable the Web UI feature. I wouldn't even mind if it came disabled by default.

successhawk That isn’t something Eero would ever add anyway.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
