Battery backup for Eero
We live in an area that has often power outages. We have a whole-house Generac generator. If the power goes out, the generator restores power to the house in less than 10 seconds. I have UPS battery backups on many devices in the house to cover the 10 second or so time the power is down and restarted by the generator. The only one that doesn't work is the battery backup in which I have the main node of the Eero system plugged into. I have a modem in the garage supplied by my ISP and that modem has a battery attached to it(with a led showing battery charge) for power outages and I never have to mess with that. When the power goes out, the main Eero node shuts off and I have to reboot the Eero system to get Internet. So if I'm not home, all my security cameras go offline and are useless. Anybody have any ideas why the UPS battery backup doesn't keep the main Eero node powered up on a brief power interruption and/or any suggestions on what I might to correct this situation. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

The UPS battery backup you have connected to the main node of your Eero system might not have enough power or capacity to keep it running during a power outage. You can try getting a larger UPS or connecting multiple UPS units in parallel to increase the power capacity. Alternatively, you can try connecting the Eero node to a different outlet that is connected to a different circuit breaker to see if it helps.
