Eero 6+ Gigabit Wifi Speed Issues
I am getting 320 mbps download and 898 mbps upload on them on my ISP gigabit plan. Any idea why my download speeds are that low? I have 4 eero 6+ nodes connected via wired backhaul in my home. One of them is connected directly to the network box of my ISP. The other port of the gateway eero is connected to a Netgear unmanaged switch. From there, ethernet cables are connected from it to my smart home ethernet switch that connects to the other eeros in different rooms of my house. I have connected an ethernet cable from the network box of my ISP to my computer and I got the full gigabit speeds on it. So I know the problem is not my ISP. What should be the problem? I do want to add that I have the eeros in bridge mode because my ISP recommended me to do so because the ISP's network box can't be in bridge mode because the ISP told me that it needed to be in its current state because of the fiber's configuration.

Hi robertovivas Since the eero app shows less than full speeds but modem->gateway eero->switch->testing device does show full speeds we know that the speeds are coming through and the eero app's speedtest is showing incorrect data. Please send us an email and use the subject line "Community Followup - inaccurate app speedtest" so we can log it. We do not have a fix at this time.
I would recommend leaving Optimize for Conferencing and Gaming disabled (eero app->Discover->eero Labs), as it uses the App's speedtest data to determine how much to bandwidth to give out, since that data in inaccurate it could result in slower than needed speeds.

Hi. No. I get the full speeds when I have connected my computer directly to the modem. I have never tried testing the speeds directly connected to the eero with my computer. I also do not get the option of Optimize for Conferencing and Gaming when I go to the eero Labs section in Discover. The only thing that appears is about the WPA3.

UPDATE: just did a speed test with an ethernet cable connected to one of the eeros and got full speed. I noticed when connected to Wifi, speeds drop dramatically. The Optimize for Conferencing and Gaming is an option that is not available when in bridge mode. And I have to have the eeros in bridge mode as per request from the ISP. Can someone tell me how can I get speeds up to a gigabit on Wifi like when I connect my computer to my eero and get full speeds?

I wanted to bring this back to life. I recently got an Eero 6+ through Mediacom. It is plugged directly into the modem. I just bought an Eero 6+ add-on as well and put in another room in the house for more coverage. I can not get more than 300 mbps on Wi-Fi download speeds. The Eero speed test from the wired gateway is showing 985 mbps download. I see that the Eero 6+ is capped at 500 mbps but I’m not getting that. Any idea what could be the issue? I turned off both of the Eero Lab beta items.
