Threat Detection Insights

I would like to see details of what eero reports as a threat or malware by the device and user. The details are important to review for specific threats, false positives and to narrow down specific vulnerabilities on a device or app. If not an enhancement then provide integration to a 3rd party. No offense but tellBig me I am protected and you blocked stuff isn’t enough anymore.

  • Well, it is odd.  How is it possible to determine whether I should subscribe to this extra Secure service?

I mean, Eero is reporting problems....Yet none of the virus scanners or spyware detection apps is picking anything up.

So either every single virus scanning app is wrong, or the Secure service is wrong --- and these really aren't threats.   It is impossible to know without some sort of detail about what the Secure is seeing on each device.

It is almost like false advertising.  Hey, you're not protected, see this trial is blocking thousands of problems --- but oh, we can't tell you what the trial is actually protecting you from.

I'll have to say, the router is pretty awesome if it wasn't for this giant omission.

  • I am still very interested in hearing from eero on their “Threat” Detection and being providing transparent data on where exactly the threat they are reporting is coming from and the user and device that triggered the threat. Your threats just don’t line up with other protection tools that I am using. So either other tools are wrong, or the advance service is just not reliable.
