Calling networking experts: Ultimate Connectivity Solution
Hello everyone,
I'm in final phases of designing my dream house. I'm trying to figure out the ultimate networking solution to preserve internet in my household. Note: I'm not an Eero customer yet, but I have some Eero being shipped on the way.
Home Specs:
Wall material: Cement and other hard stuff.
Number of floors: Basement, Ground, First, and 2nd Floor.
Total built up area: 1050 square meter.
My basic thinking so far to get the best solution:
1Provision some wired connectivity within the house, which terminates at potential Eero end points.
Would that work? is this the best solution? Thoughts?

Hi abs133
Given that the walls are cement, and those aren't terribly wifi friendly, hardwiring all the eero is the way to go.
Make sure to follow topology requirements: https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000830546-Examples-of-common-network-topologies
In short there needs to be one eero upstream of the other eero so that eero is the gateway/head eero. This is true even if the eero will be bridged (and you use your own router).
