Port forwarding

I am trying to forward a port to host a Minecraft server on my PC. I went through the steps in the eero app to set up the reservation, but it still does not work. When checking the port via an online port checker, it says it is closed. How should I go about getting this issue resolved? I do not see a clear fix in another post on there.
