Any fix for Eero Pro 6 Wifi Speed Issue?

I just upgraded my fiber connection to gigibit.  It is my understanding that Eero Pro 6 Wifi is suppose to be gigabit as well.  However, when I tried with my Wifi I am only getting 360mbps download.  Over ethernet I am getting 923.52.  Is this a common issue with Eero?  Or this just means my laptops built in Wifi is crap?

    Hi  This certainly sounds like the laptop has an older/less capable wireless card in it.  Make sure the laptop is within 10 feet of the eero and is connecting to it on 5ghz.  Making sure the eero is in an open space, without a lot of metal or glass around it, might also help.

    Make sure to update the wireless driver, that can help in a lot of cases as well.

    However, wireless speeds will almost always be less than a wired connection.  For the Pro 6 the normal really good speeds we typically see are in the 500-600s wirelessly.

    Thanks for the info.  My iphone connects at 800-ish mbps.  That is why I suspect it is the laptop's wifi issue.  It is a ROG Scar 15, which is surprising it's wifi is subpar.

    Ordered an actual USB Wireless 1300mbps adapter.  Let's see if that makes a difference.
