Dlink

I am trying to reconnect 4 separate Dlink cameras after installing 3 eeros routers, and the smaller newer ones (no Ethernet port) go all the way to letting me choose the network and then it spins and says can’t connect. I can get the lager ones (5222L) to work only if they are plugged in the Ethernet to the eeros —- they worked wirelessly on the old router. Can anyone help? I’ve spent hours trying to make them work!

  • Try temporarily disabling the 5GHz network. That usually resolves this type of issue.

In the eero app go to Settings > My device won’t connect > my device is 2.4 GHz only

  • Hello,

I wanted to check in with you and see if temporarily disabling 5GHz allowed you to connect up your cameras. If you have time please let me know if you are still having troubles.

    Thank you,

    James

James Thanks for checking. I thought it was going to work, but then it still did not connect...

I don’t understand because so far all other electronics sign in no problem.

    • Par5nb Hello,

What types of eeros are you using? If you have eero 6s you might need to put your network into legacy mode in order for the camera to connect. Settings -> Troubleshooting -> My device won't connect -> Legacy mode

      Thank you,

      James
